PostSubject: Forum Rules   Thu 28 Aug 2008, 09:09

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this. Nobody likes rules, so we try to keep these rather basic. If there's anything you feel you need to understand better, dont hesitate to simply ask one of the Mods or Admins* before hand.

1. Please act your age.

-Do not insult or flame other members of the forum. This will not be tolerated and will be dealt with promptly.
Simply put, don't try to be an asshole.

-Do not insult people because of their likes/dislikes. You may state your arguments and debate over why you agree or disagree but if you do, please do it politely. Keep the debate on the subject and don't shift it to debating over a person.

-Do not use this board to flame other sites or forums.

-Dont post any hateful remarks regarding race, religion, nationality or anything of the nature. Racist remarks and stupid shit like that will NOT be tolerated!

-Treat the Admins and Mods as you wish to be treated yourself. If the moderators tell you something, please stick to it. Provoking the Admins is never a good idea.

- If you have a problem with someone violating this rule, please PM* a member of staff and they will deal with it.

2. Linking.

-If you are posting an image, please make sure its no larger then 500x500 pixels in size. if you do not have an image editor
just provide a link.
-Do not hot-link any images. Please upload the image to your own image host (photobucket, imageshack, etc.), otherwise you are stealing bandwidth!
Any images found to be hot-linked will be removed.

-You may not harrass other members by PMing them with advertisements for your website or forum. Anyone found doing so will be warned, then banned if the behaviour continues. Additionally, posts made by members for the purpose of advertising their website/forum, anywhere other than the forum mentioned above will be deleted.

-You may not post certain types of content. This includes in particular:
*Links to illegally obtain licensed material.
*Links or pictures of "shock sites". (Tubgirl, Goatsce, Hai2u, etc etc...)
*Links to obtain illegal access to commercial software ("warez") or information on how to circumvent
*registration systems ("serials", "keygens" or "cracks")
*Do not link to any pornographic material.
*Avoid alltogeather linking to any pyramid schemes, adult webmaster programs, advertising sites or things of that nature.

-Posting graphic content is not against the rules, but please try and be considerate and post a warning before hand.

3. No Flooding or Spamming!

-Do not flood forums. You may answer Vigorously, but if we find you repetivly answering your own posts (bumping) or deliberately spamming topics your posts will be deleted and you might be banned.

4. Sigs and Avatars.

-You may have one image in your signature but it may not be bigger than circa 580 (W) x 300 (H) pixels. The enforcement of this rule is
rather relaxed, but oversize pictures will be asked to be removed.
(alternatively, you can have a few images, as long as they don't exceed the estimate 550x150 pixel size).

-All linking in the signature must follow the rules of linking listed above.

-Please avoid writing too much in your signature as well. Five to ten lines of text is one thing, but when you quote the entire passage of "Quoth the Raven" you're pushing your luck!

-Do not include any pornographic or shock-material in your sigs or avatars. If we feel your signature or avatar is too provocative we will ask you to remove it.

6. Miscellaneous Stuff.

-We reserve the right to change these rules at any time!

-Lastly, Try and have fun here and Enjoy your stay at the forums. These are just some basic rules but the enforcement is, in general, very relaxed. Rule of thumb is, dont act like a complete asshole! Thanks for your consideration.
