Daniel Hannan is my new political hero. He just summed up every feeling I have had toward the current U.S. spending frenzy. We need more honest guys like this watching out for the folks who have elected them. God why couldn't we have had a guy like Hannan running for Pres. of the U.S. Please watch the video below.

Because the people who are best suited for leadership are 99% of the time the people who are the least likely to want a position of leadership....the best leaders of the world are never the public "open faced" leaders....they are the ones who get a position out of the spotlight where they can have their input matter and actually change things....or they flat out refuse to run for anything and will swear up and down that they would be a terrible leader, but if something drasti happens they are always the first to step up and take the reigns

Unfortunately it seems politics has it's own deal of "mainstream." The people getting through are not the top politicians, they're the ones who know how to act on a stage.

So they can be puppets. I wouldn't say that's a good thing.
