What's your thoughts on this game? I was going to start it again, after many failed attempts. Ive played it probably about 5 diff. times then i'd quit it and play something else, and come back to it. So i'd restart it all over again, making a new char. I played morrorwind and gone thro the main story to the end, skipped most of the side quests, as i thought it would take too long to do all the guilds quests.

I'm playing Fallout 3 at the minute and about 3 totally different people have said to me if I like that I should play Oblivion, so I might pick this up the next time I trade games in. I've heard its just based around medieval and magic. _________________

I played This before Fallout 3, what apealed to me about Fallout 3 was that the gameplay was very similar to this, it being made by the same people. i enjoyed this alot with many play throughs Dark Elves FTW! but all in all i prefer Fallout 3. _________________

Ya, i still want to get fallout3 dudes tell me its the same as oblivion but with guns instead of swords and magic. Whats your fav. char. in oblivion? last time i played this i tried the i forget what its called but its like trying to lvl up everything, and maxing all stats, i quickly got bored of trying to lvl that way and said F**k it. I had a better time when i played an all out warrior with some restoration magic for healing, i guess something like a paladin. Maybe i'll try a pure mage this time, i remember back in morrorwind mages sucked bad tho, hopefully there alot better in this game.

My favourite character is my Dark Elve 'Drako'! he owns even Mehrunes Dagon! also it depends about your mage, as High Elves have more magika to start with but they begin with a 25 weakness to all elements which it quite a disadvantage if you persue the main quest line right off the bat, but a Dark Elve or even a Argonian would be great mages, but stock up on potions and choose the mage sign at the begining to get both more magika and spells off the bat. _________________

ehe drako, thats awesome name man. i just went with a warrior type gu8y again this time a nord, i named him Sour Bag Jr. ehe. I just left the sewers last night, and am roaming around the villages helping the common folk and doing good deeds today. I always do enjoy helping the good people. Now iam tring to help an ol fisherman who hurt his leg and cant fish anymore, but ive been swiming in that part of the lake for 15 mins and only caught 1 Rumare Slaughterfish so far. Later when i grow stronger, ill be back, and be sure enough to kill these folks. aha *Edit. Hey dudes, i have done a very dastadly thing this night, i murdered some chick named umbra for her sword and armor.

I noticed on there lil table in a hole they had set up there was some shepards pie. I said "Hey! you sons of bitches!, where you get this shit from?" aahahaa You would think they would of been eating a piece of rat meat or something in a cave, but they had a well baked looking shepards pie? hahaa ah man, this games hilarous. _________________ |

Really? servants with pie? only in my wildest dreams. Well i bought that haunted house in anvil an killed the evil lich who was in the basement and lifted the curse, but no servant there. Hey johhny did you do the Guilds quests? or just the main quest? Right now iam about 75% done the fighters guild quest, Untill i thought i'd just go into the mages guild so i can enchant my armor with more mana, since mana sucks on a warrior. But there was no one there who did enchantments, like in morrowind!!??. I asked around a gamer forum and the dudes said, "Well, dude you have to get recommendations from all the mage guilds to get into the arcane university, where you can make your own spells and enchant armor/weapons." So thats when i said "What in the blue F'ing Hell!!" so ive been grinding late last night getting the recommendations from the mages. But i've finally got there an i could not use the "Greater Fortify Magika" in my armor, since my restoration is only lvl 50 and needs lvl 75?. I was mad as F**k i must say, but i did put in More intelligence in my armors tho, for alil bit more mana. Which will have to do for now. If all goes according to plan, i'll finally be done the Fighters guild missions tonight. Then, the mages, then finally the main quest, and maybe the dark brotherhood after that. And maybe also the theives guild after that. but i knnow i'll be sick an tired of this game by the time i complete the main quest. _________________

Hey, do you have the expansions Shivering Isle & Knights of the Nine? I just have the regular game, was thinking of buying the Game of the Year edition, just for the expansions. As downloading them is not an option for me anymore. If you do have them, are they worth playing? *EDIT. Hey, did you ever notice how the female argonians sound alot like Patty & Selma from the simpsons? When i first heard them i turned around quick and thought "what?? is that patty & selma??" but only to see a fish face talking woman. _________________

I have it on PS3 which mean i have Knights of the Nine as standard, and it's a good questline that will take up roughly about 4 hours of your time, I have not got shivering Isles yet but plan to get soon. _________________

Hey man, i finally finished the fighters guild quests and am now the guild master. All i got for my efforts was a skull helmet that makes me look abit fucked. Im not sure i want to finish mage guild quests now. Only 4 hours for knights of the nine? i hope shiveving isle would be longer then that, I checked my time on my save and it says ive been playing for 35 Hours!??. That cant be right? didnt seem that long, all ive done was fighters guild some mages and some random side quests. How many hours do you have in your game? and whats your main char.s lvl? I'm thinking i'll make a mage now, heres my mage plan: Name: Boss Jr. Race: Breton (mostly cuz of the resists, or i would of gone High elf for more mana) Magic base, INT,WIS for main attributes. (or swap out INT for END and get more Health?) Major Skills: Conjuration, Acrobatics well all the skills that you can control when to lvl them. as i'll be using my main skills as minor skills so i wont be lvling up to fast. also whats a good destruction spell? im probably going to use it for my main killing attack. I think a fire/ice/lightning spell made from the university would do? And shes not going to wear armor this time, just enchanted clothes, i find my heavy armor on my warrior slows me down. What you think about this shit? _________________

Well shivering Isles will take up at least 15 hours if you explore everything on offer. Hmm i would try and go for a more Olivion style name depending on your race of course. and best skills to use for a mage are alteration and destruction, best type of spell is the shock style, if you choose the mage birthsign you get shock touch off the bat which means you can take lower lever creatures out with one hit such as rats or mudcrabs, and some goblins have been known to die from one strike but always carry a sword with you for safe bets in battles. _________________
