People keep telling me to check this out as it's made by the people who made Fallout 3 and that's my favorite game at the moment. Is it much like it?!

The core game mechanics are like the level up stuff but there are no perks in Oblivion but what is better, you can get a higer level than 20 lol. oh and also it is a shock to the system when you go to use Vats out of instinct then end up using a spell lol but overall there are similarities with both the games that would make the transition easy, and you can get it for a bout £20 new, so i'd suggest it alot!

I would ignore people who say that fallout 3 is just "oblivion with guns". Sure they might both be open world rpgs, but, they are different enough where it matters. The story, environment, theme, and overall gameplay are very different. I would recommend getting Oblivion if you liked Fallout 3 and vice versa. They are both great games with a ton of replay value. I give both a 10 out of 10
