I am ridiculously excited for this!! I know it's delayed til March but I think it will be worth the wait. I really loved 4 so hopefully I'll like this one just as much or even more. This and SH5 are going to rock my socks. _________________

This is perhaps the only game I am looking forward to right now. Maybe with Dead Space. It's gonna be fun to actually discuss a game with you guys.

This will be the day I finally get a PS3. I have been holding out on getting one because the only games I want are RE5, SH Homecoming, and Final Fantasy XIII. All which have not been released yet. I really hope that RE5 meets or exceeds our expectations. It has been far too long since a really great RE game was released. _________________

I know what you mean, I did LOVE RE4 but it lacked the super spookiness and the omfgwtfisthatthingshitmyself factor. It'll be awesome when you get a PS3! _________________

Here's what they, and the developers noted: -Similar to RE 4 -Wants to take good use of the sudden shift between light and darkness -Currently bad AI, but subject to change; the game is only 60% done -Enemies very aggressive and cooperative -New hulking enemy with giant club creates panic, by destroying both walls and allies with his smashes Nothing really new, and I also noticed that the preview was a little old. I wonder why I stumbled upon it earlier today... _________________

| When I saw the latest gameplay, I thought to myself, "Holy fucking shit! After all that bitching and complaining, Capcom still hasn't learned its lesson." They stuck to the same crap that pissed off many hardcore RE fans, myself included. It is now apparent that they have no intention of ever bringing Survival Horror back to the RE name. And it is now apparent that I am most likely not going to buy this game. They crossed the line, and must now atone for their sins. _________________ Walt Disney World Cast Member. Dream Maker. | Finally downloaded the Demo from the PS Store last night, I am quite impressed with what I played. Just did the first level, not the Shanty Town the other one I can't remember it's name, on my own. I didn't get to finish it though I died! I liked what I did though, reminded me a lot of RE4, and I really loved 4. My only complaint so far is that I wish they had old school RE1 style zombies, as much as I loved the "monsters" in the fourth game I aren't over the moon to see them again. But if they manage to have them again and keep the game decent, which it looks like they have, then I'm happy. Not got a chance to try co-op yet, looking forward to it though. _________________ |
