The Calling is a J-Horror title for the Wii that appears to be in the vein of Fatal Frame. I don't really know that much about it or if it is still being released. I have looked all over the internet and found much speculation and outdated news, but nothing concrete. View the video below.

Why is the Wii getting all the new horror games? it's a kids console for GODSAKE! oh i know, they don't have to worry about real cutscenes and HD graphics, i'm not a "graphics are the most important thing" guy but when developers don't even try AKA GTA Chinatown wars = WTF!?! it gets 9/10s when the games on PSP get 8s and 7s, it's a big FAIL!

Survival Horror doesn't sell well. Wii is the best selling console. Wii is safest.

I wouldn't say the Wii is a kids console at all, yeah, there is a lot of kiddified games on it [chuff knows why] but some really good ones too, plus Wii Fit, I use that everyday and I couldn't see any kids on it...

Anyway, on topic! That does look creepy, reminds me a bit of SH4 in places. Japanese horror has always creeped me out though, apart from shitty remakes like the Grudge grrr but that's another thing... I do wish this was out on all consoles then I might have given it a go, I take it is a Wii exclusive?!

I'd say it's about time the Wii got some serious games for sell. I mean seriously I want you to go any game store, go to the wii section, and count how many serious looking games they have for sell.

Anyway, back on topic. Its an interesting looking game and am curious to see more on it. Though, this game kinda seems more like its based off the grudge to me.
