Bleszinski's next is a survival horror game?

Gears of War 2 is finally in the shops today, but according to a report in a US games mag creator Cliff Bleszinski won't be moving straight onto developing the third game.

According to a rumour in the current US EGM, Bleszinski's next game won't be Gears of War 3, but instead a "visceral" survival horror game. There's more; apparently it'll be multi-platform as well.

The new Epic game will mix the "bloody visceral" elements of Gears of War with "psychological terror", claims the report.

With Dead Space still warm on the shelves, we're all about survival horror games right now. But there's undoubtedly going to be a Gears of War 3 (the second game leaves massive hints) and it'd be disappointing not to see the series lead at the helm.
