Tomb Raider UnderworldFor those of you who have not seen it yet, then you need to check out the new gameplay trailer for Tomb Raider Underworld here: TRAILERHere is a little more info from IGN at E3: E3 2008: Tomb Raider Underworld Updated Hands-on New details on Lara's latest quest.by Jeff Haynes July 16, 2008 - At E3 today, we were lucky enough to get our hands on the demo which we recently posted impressions of last week. While we only had a few minutes to control Lara because we had a limited amount of time to play, we were quite impressed by the flexibility of the underwater level. Essentially, players could "swim-strafe" away from hazards like sharks, which was extremely important because the giant predators would swarm and charge through Lara otherwise, making a quick meal out of her. Fortunately, thanks to the ability to swim to the side while still retaining a visual lock on a target, we could pull out a spear gun and nail the sharks safely. However, we noticed that there were more sharks that quickly appeared as we fired our guns and our spearguns in the water, especially when we swam in blazing. What we found out from some of the designers is that the game will actually have some player tailoring to adjust to a specific person's style of play, which you'll be able to influence. If you happen to like more combat and less of a focus on puzzles, you can tweak your settings and increase the number of enemies that will appear during battles. If you're more into puzzles, however, you simply avoid triggering the Help On Demand feature we mentioned last week and try to make your way through the puzzles on your own.

I am always excited about a new TR game. It's the whole exploration and adventure thing. I can be like Indiana Jones for a while. But yes, I have been following Underworld for a while and I think it will shape up to be a great game. _________________

Played it on my Xbox. Needs a lot of refinement. I managed to jump through a duck-tunnel and bring an item through another similar tunnel, even though you are supposed to drop it when ducking. Controls work well, but Lara jumped the wrong way from a hanging point way too much for me. So overall, not that impressive, but, holy crap, the atmosphere! Any horror game can go home, this isn't scary, but the most cozy thing ever. They managed to create paradise on that island! Wonderful background + wonderful music = win. _________________

Been playing this tonight and last night on the PS3, so it's the full version obviously, and it is fucking brilliant. You HAVE to have played Legend though really to get the story, though there is videos from the main menu with the story so far, doubt it's the same though. I'm on Mexico at the moment, so far for me the story has been great and I won't say who but a good character dies and I was pretty gutted!! Plus we get to explore a room we really haven't seen before in Croft Manor, which is pretty crazy when you go there. This game is so gorgeous though, to look at it is lovely. There's some real twists in the story too. Now, the letdowns are that there are little bugs in it such as small invisible walls, occasional dodgy camera angels etc... Also the AI on the henchmen are still pretty dumb, but it doesn't stop the game being great fun to play and it really does draw you into the story, very gripped to it. All in all so far I think this game is a must buy for TR fans. Lara definitely does not disappoint! _________________

If you go on Google Image Search and type in her name it'll come up with absolutely tonnes of pics of her, and it'll save space on here as well. I'm going to be playing this through again when the trophies are released, can't wait!! I wanna play it again now but it'll be a bit pointless. _________________
