US, May 26, 2009 - Gamers have been hovering over their keyboards in sweaty anticipation for the Kojima countdown clock. Several countdowns have appeared on this site (yes, several countdowns in a row) that have been teasing at what famed videogame designer Hideo Kojima would pursue next. The wait is now over. Just a few minutes ago, the countdown clock hit zero and the magic happened. The internet stood still.

Another 117 hour countdown filled our screen. Also, more letters appeared: P, 3, S, R, e and E. After waiting for a few minutes, an image of what appears to be Big Boss flashes on screen. So could this be a PS3 game featuring Metal Gear Solid's legendary protagonist? We'll have to wait and see.

I myself can't wait to see what Kojima has to say at E3, if he reveals much more at all. we call all but wait!

PS3 E Remake?

I highly doubt Kojima would make a big deal over just a Remake, but anything is plausable at this stage.
