On a lighter note heres a couple from a grade 6 class in NY called PS22 Chorus. I saw them on a segment on NBC Primetime last week. They are part of a extra crricular class at their school that is studying music. but it seems that the program might be cut due to recession and the usuall school budget cutbacks...so they decided to post their stuff on youtube to promote themselves...hence getting recogntion from local and eventually national news. In any case, this is primary the reason why we should NEVER cut extra critucular stuff in schools...whether it be music, sports, Computers, etc...those budgeting type have NO clue what students miss out on when their gone, but thats my opinion..

Music and the like does nothing but waste the time for me in my school. I don't know if there are schools that make better use of it. You could.

School systems are generally thrash. I've had so many gripes with the schools I've seen that I've about stopped caring.
